I bet very few Americans view this with my amusement and appreciation. I have postcard with a beach full of these, slightly larger - in Germany, from a wonderful mini-tour, compliments of Uncle Sam, 1984. I think Vilhelmshaven, in northeast. They were colorful, so foreign and thus had mystique.
